Estudios Estrella lanzamos nuestro 6º single “We are a Crowd”, una versión del ya publicado título homónimo junto a Bass Culture Players [Back a Yard, 2013].

Un ejercicio creativo en el que se han sumado músicos como Carlos Alonso “Amalgamah” (Hammond) o Rodrigo Díaz “el Niño” (batería), para dar vida a este chispeante tema al más puro estilo early reggae jamaicano.

“Somos multitud” se mantiene fiel a un mensaje sin rodeos y que habla sobre lucha social y política, y sobre la importancia de la cooperación y el apoyo mutuo para conseguir grandes logros.

La portada está realizada por el artista afincado en Madrid, S. Gordillo (Fat Art) y que hace un guiño retratando la viva, numerosa y potente realidad del reggae en el panorama estatal en este momento.

El tema vocal se complementa con una versión remezclada, como es habitual en el estilo, llamada “Dub a Crowd”, un viaje hacia dentro y a través de filtros, reverbs y delays, donde miedos y preguntas se transforman en la afirmación:

Yes, We are a crowd!!
